Place 1 2 of the sauerkraut mixture over the potatoes. From the heat for 3 4 minutes on each side or until browned. Mix with a fork. Stir in sauerkraut and parsley. Cook potatoes in oil 7 to 10 minutes stirring occasionally until just starting to brown.
Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. In same skillet heat remaining tablespoon oil. Broil pork chops 6 in. Position 1 rack in the upper third of the oven. Brown over medium high heat about 3 minutes each side.
Spoon remaining sauerkraut mixture over pork. Spoon half into a 5 qt. Sprinkled sage on the pork chops added caraway seeds and about another tbsp brown sugar to the sauerkraut after rinsing and squeezing it to get the sour juice out and then put about 3 tbsp thinly sliced butter pats on top of the sauerkraut and then poured about 1 4 cup reisling wine. Meanwhile combine sauerkraut brown sugar onion apple and caraway seeds if using in a bowl. Top with browned pork chops and finally remaining sauerkraut mixture.

In a large bowl combine the sauerkraut onion apples corn syrup bay leaves caraway and pepper. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Place 1 2 of the sauerkraut mixture over the potatoes.
